Asbestos & Hazardous Building Materials Testing Services:

Services include the following:

Training: Asbestos Abatement Worker Training

Surveys can also be performed to identify the presence of other hazardous materials, such as lead, mercury, PCBs, etc. We can also assist by providing a list of qualified asbestos abatement companies or we can retain and coordinate the work. All testing results are reviewed by a Certified Industrial hygienist (CIH) with several years of consulting experience. All sample analysis is performed by accredited laboratories.

Suspect asbestos-containing material (ACM) bulk samples can be submitted by homeowners, building managers, etc. of building materials to confirm the presence/absence of asbestos by laboratory analysis.

Building Materials Present Within Your House That May Contain Asbestos Include the Following:

  • Drywall joint compound
  • Vermiculite attic insulation
  • Lay-in acoustical ceiling tiles
  • Plaster (ceiling and wall)
  • Pipe insulation, fittings and boiler insulation
  • Floor tiles and sheet flooring, and underlying mastic
  • Textured finished (ceiling stipple)
